Welcome to the Resource Page for Globes My Own Backyard (MOB) Committee.

This committee was formed back in February '09 to look at ways to improve our Main Street and the 8-block Historic District which makes up Globe's downtown area. Check back with us as we add information and resources to get involved with the many projects underway now to improve Broad Street.

11/24    Sponsoring Bollards - Streetscape lighting

*Each lighted bollard is handcrafted in metal by local artist, Jim Ohl, and may be sponsored by individuals, businesses, clubs, or organization.

*Bollards will include an engraved plaque in honor of a person, or in recognition of the donor. Bollard sponsorships are suitable for memorials, recognition for service, or announcing your business or organization's commitment and appreciation of our historic downtown.

*Bollards will be located throughout the Globe historic downtown on Broad Street. Installation will be scheduled throughout the next 6-9 months after each bollard is individually produced by hand.

*Individual Bollards may be sponsored in the amount of $600. The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts (CVCA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization making your sponsorship tax deductible.
