Susan Hanson is the owner and creative driver for the business which - in Miami - also includes an array of unusual antique pieces for home decor, and women's clothing and accessories . The business was officially established in 1986, and in 1999, they moved to the mountains! As Susan says, "Like many shop owners in downtown Miami, we came up from the Valley on an outing, stopped and stepped into an old west scene. With Miami's quaint buildings, history and kind people..we could not leave."

The Joshua's Treehouse sits on the first floor of the Kelly building. Built in 1915 it was the first photography studio for Gila County. The second floor is apartments originally designated for lady teachers only!! in 2003 these were renovated and have had tenants ever since. With the oak floors, Murphy-beds and a view of our beautiful mountains from every window- you are reminded daily, you are standing viewing the scenes that the people before us saw and felt as they went thru their day. We peacefully open our stores, hang our signs, sweep our sidewalks and Welcome All!
