Since 1996 Sarah Bernstein has artfully provided her customers with hand selected , quality driven goods with great panache. Her store provides for a most noteworthy shopping experience. Here you will find a whimsical array of all things feminine from clothing, to estate jewelry. From French loungerie to Stonewall kitchen accessories. Sarah Bernstein is both artist and artisan when it comes to creating beauty in our lives. Her clothing is ready to wear and highly "liveable" while remaining true to the elements of good design, style and personal comfort.
As an artist, mother, wife and entrepreneur her store reflects her own life and this Fall you'll find her easel set up in the back of the store. If it is slow you are just as likely to find her working on a large canvass, as setting up new displays. Her inventory changes constantly and she does not always re-stock the same things. As she says, "I never stop shopping. My attitude is; if I find something great, I can't go there again. Part of something being unique is the fact that you're not going to see yourself coming and going. She does not believe in "stocking deep." She may bring in in a small, two mediums and a large, but when those are gone, she doesn't re-order. She has already moved on to the next thing. It is one of the keys to keeping her store fresh.
