Welcome to the Copper Miners' Rest

My name is Winona Dale Barcón; it is my pleasure to be your Innkeeper and Host at the Copper Miners’ Rest, a Bed & Fix Your Own D@#! Breakfast.

We are a historical miner’s boarding house located in Miami, Arizona.  If you’re visiting our small town for the first time, you will also enjoy the many areas of interest, the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts, the copper industry tours, numerous antique shops, our many historic homes, as well as the spectacular scenery. We are located a few miles from the Historic Downtown of Globe, AZ where you can also visit the Besh-Ba-Gowah Archeological Park.

Our European style lodging provides a casual yet elegant environment.  We have three very special guest rooms and a studio apartment, as well as a spacious sitting room, large bath with a shower and spa-tub and kitchen facilities which are available to guests and travelers with the most discriminating of tastes.  Our rooms are beautifully furnished with tasteful antiques and reproductions.  We also have a landscaped outdoor terrace to relax and unwind.


Rates include double occupancy with all the makings for “Fix Your Own D%#! Breakfast”, as well as early evening wine and cheese.  If you choose to stay in for dinner, we also provide outdoor cooking facilities.

All guestrooms and studio apartment are available for nightly and extended stay guests.  With advance notice we can accommodate small to medium size pets for those of you that travel with your furry family member.  The Copper Miners’ Rest also caters to corporate retreats, business travelers, extended stay guests, small conferences and special events.
