Globe's newest Bed and Breakfast

The Chrysocolla Inn has been meticulously renovated to reflect it's 1910 heritage.
The history of the property goes back to the late 1800s, but
its' hey day was during the early 1900s when it was known as
Macks Home Hotel.

The historic boarding house and ‘home hotel’ was on the brink of demolition when it was rescued nearly 8 years ago. It has been a laborious process of restoring the building to health and bringing back it’s original grandeur, but we think you’ll agree, it’s been worth the effort!

Located just one block off Globe’s Historic downtown district, it is a perfect spot from which to explore the area and then come home to a slice of history where you can enjoy a drink with friends from our porch or in front of the fireplace. Each of the rooms has a bit of local lore and history unique to this area.

We know you’ll find your visit to Chrysocolla Inn memorable and we look forward to being your hosts!

ABOUT CHRYSOCOLLA INN:

The exterior of the Chrysocolla showing the new awnings, the addition of the front porch which juts out from the second floor and the long covered patio, just off the kitchen/dining area.

The Dining Hall includes a 16ft custom table by Bruce Sackett. Shown here are just 2 of the 19 chandeliers which Holly purchased from antique stores over the 8 year period while the home was undergoing renovations.

Each Bedroom has a unique color scheme. Most are outfitted with Queen or Full size Beds. Each room has it's own bath, with shower, and there are shared common areas on all three floors, plus an exercise room and multiple patios.

The Chrysocolla Inn was named after the mineral which is found in the area. Although often confused with Turquoise, this gem is a copper bearing mineral and found wherever copper is mined. We thought this was a highly appropriate name for a Bed and Breakfast which originally served as a Miner's Boarding House!

Renovation of the Chrysocolla Inn..

It is hard to believe the structure you see today was in such bad repair when we started. The renovation took nearly 8 years and involved gutting the interior and rebuilding from the foundation...up!
