This is a modest restaurant, plain decor, no frills, with absolutely wonderful Mexican food. Service was great. The place was very crowded for lunch, but we were waited on promptly. The food was superlative, and reasonably priced. After dining in a lot of the fancier restaurants in Phoenix, and eating mediocre food at huge prices, it was a pleasure to have a very well prepared meal in this small restaurant. This was the best meal we had in the Phoenix area.

REVIEWS:
April 2010:
The green chile IS fantastic; we had it on the cheese crisp (with tender chunks of garlicky beef.) The BF greatly enjoyed his combo plate with a beef taco, chile relleno, and tostada. I had the tamales; not the ultimate, but very tasty. The waitstaff were very friendly and efficient. A great little find in a nice little town (Go on the weekends, and all the lovely antique/collectible shops will be open, to complete your day.)
Fantastic Mexican food!!!”
