Farmer's Market Challenge~ In conjunction with the Globe-Miami Farmers Market, we will be hosting
a Farmer's Market Taste-Off Challenge. ~It is simple, you buy your Key ingredient(s) at the mornings'
market and come back in the evening to enter the taste-off! The sky is the limit on what you make~
savory~sweet~Summer~ your call! Winners will be announced at the end of the Globe Summer Fest

the talent! ~People's Choice Judging announced at the end of the event. & you get to eat-your-own-guts!

Downtown Sidewalk Chalk Challenge!
This is going to be fun! There are two parts to this Challenge, Business & Public. Instead of our regular
business window decorating contest, we are going to have a sidewalk chalk challenge. All Historic District
Businesses reserve the right to their own adjacent sidewalks, but all of the rest is fair game to the public
artists. Public... entries must sign up for an entry # for judging, their will be a $5 entry fee to the Historic
Main Street Program. Start your art projects on the evening of the Solstice (first official day of Summer)
Wednesday, June 20th and wrap it up by Friday the 22nd at 5pm. Public Choice & Official Judging will run
from Friday at 5pm through the Globe Summer Fest Event on June 23rd, 5-8PM. Public choice ballots can
be cast at the event until 7pm. Jot down the # of your favorite & we will award a 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize. Free
children's chalk play will be available during the event.
Pick-up your entry # at the CVCA, The White Porch, or Ortega's Shoe's starting on June 1st, 2012. See you
