Autumn Art in the Mountains of Miami

October 13 - 14, 2012

10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This will be the first annual art show by local and invited artists in a newly renovated area of Bullion Plaza Museum.

The featured artist will be Globe’s own Frank Balaam, well recognized across the country and world. To share the large space will be artists Jan Barber, past Miami gallery owner and member of Cobre Valley Center for the Arts; Tanya Lambrect, whose work is also displayed at Cobre Valley Center for the Arts; Jim Coates, owner and main artist at the Copper Mine Picture Café in Miami; Barbara Decker,  whose three dimensional artform ivory necklaces are totally stunning and equestrian-ly unique; another amazing type of three dimensional stone and wire art from Ming Tree artist Sue Jones; Marianne Collins, owner of A Miami Place who’s copper and sandstone art grace many homes across the country; and Trey Coppland, with many, many wonderful abstracts you’ll delight in seeing.

All these artists so complement each other it is truly a feast of the eyes.

This show will also feature music, wine tasting, refreshments and food, museum self-tours of permanent artwork, silent auction, small original gift art for sale, painting demonstration and a drawing.
