The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts presents the work of Jeri Warner in the Alcove during the month of November.
Jeri was raised in Phoenix and moved to Globe in 1994. She has been painting most of her adult life starting with pastels and quickly moving on to oils. She managed to squeeze in a little painting while raising her children and working. Jeri attended a community college oil class for one semester and learned the rest from how to paint books and trial and error - lots of error! She took up pottery in 1980 and learned about decorating gourds in 1990. She now grows, carves, woodburns and dyes gourds. Jeri renewed her interest in painting in 2009 when she and a friend started painting together.
Jeri will have many pieces of her paintings and gourds available for purchase during this exhibit.
The Cobre Valley Center for the Arts presents the work of Jeri Warner in the Alcove during the month of November.
